Going to Disney Parks is so much fun, but it can be stressful as well. You’ve got your bags packed, your tickets in hand and now you’re ready to go! But wait… do you have everything on this list? Check out these Disney Park essentials.
The magic of Disney Parks is something you’ve probably experienced at least once in your life. Whether it’s Disneyland or Disney World, no matter how many times you’ve been there, there’s always something new to see and do.
If you’re planning on going on a vacation soon and want to visit one of these magical places, here are some Disney park essentials that will make your trip run smoother:
Mouse Ears
Yeah we know you can get these in the park, but do you know how much they are there? If your kids want them and you don’t care about getting a pair from the park, this is definitely the cheaper way to go. Just but them before you go and take them in with you. This pair is from Amazon and comes in a 2-pack.
Princess Dresses
Kind of along the same lines here as the mouse ears. These dresses can be very expensive inside the park. Not too mention your girls will probably want to wear them as they go into the park. Getting them beforehand can save you lots of moola and a headache from crying children. There are lots of different princess dresses to choose from with this link so be sure to check them all out!
Bubble Wand
So this one I can definitely say something about. Our son saw so many other kids with these bubble wands and he’s mildly obsessed with bubbles. So naturally he wanted to pick the bubble wand as his souvenir. Never again haha! It was just one big $35 mess!! Learn from our mistake and grab one of these before you go! There are different colors and characters to choose from too. Check around for other souvenirs to add to your Disney Park essentials.
Ponchos
We put these on our list because no one likes to walk around in soaking wet clothes. If you get caught in a rainstorm, with a poncho there’s no need to stop the fun by taking cover somewhere. And I know you don’t want to do Splash Mountain because of getting wet and not because of the freefall at the end, right? 🙂 Well now with ponchos there’s no excuse!
First Aid Kit
There are so many things this one could be used for. This kit comes with 150 pieces. Things like bandages, gloves, sting relief pads, and even a CPR face shield. It’s always best to be prepared!
Portable Charger
These are great to charge all your electronic devices, especially phones. This one will be able to charge an iPhone twice. Anker is an awesome brand that we trust for chargers and charging cords. This charger is really inexpensive and so small that it will fit in your pocket or a fanny pack.
Crossbody Phone Case Wallet
A stylish way to keep everything safe. This phone case acts as a wallet too for cards, hotel keys, cash, etc. Great for Disneyland or Disney World!
Waterproof Phone Sleeves
Whether it’s in the park, at the hotel pool, or at the beach, these cases are perfect for keeping your phone safe from the water and really almost anything. This is a 4-pack of them for a great value. They’ll hold bigger phones too! A must for your Disney Park essentials list!
Hand Sanitizing Wipes
Perfect for cleaning up before eating or just even throughout the day. Lots of germs all over with so many people. This is the best way to prevent getting sick after your vacation at the happiest place on earth! I bet these could be used on surfaces in a pinch too.
Apple AirTags
If you get only one thing on this list, AirTags should be it. AirTags at Disneyland or Disney World are so important. You can attach these to strollers, wallets, keys, backpacks, etc. I’ve used these so many times to find lost things. Normally they work just when you are close to them but when you mark them as lost, you can find them anywhere. When they’re marked lost they use the huge network of iPhones to help locate it. This is so cool because there are so many iPhones out there that will pick up on the location of the lost item and help you find it. Don’t worry, this feature doesn’t compromise your privacy or the privacy of others.
While these are great for items, they aren’t the best option for children. Check out these Jiobits. We use these all the time for our kids. Luckily we’ve never had to really use them for lost kids but it gives peace of mind!
Sunscreen
Going to Disney Parks is so much fun, but it can be stressful as well. You’ve got your bags packed, your tickets in hand and now you’re ready to go! But wait… do you have everything on this list? Check out our last few ideas!
Anti-Chafe Balm
You’re already going to be tired from walking all around the Disney Parks. There’s no need to be chaffed too. This Body Glide stuff is amazing! Just put it on before your day and you’ll be set all day long!
Stroller Fan
Matching Pajama Sets
Matching Disney pajamas is such a fun tradition that we do. Our kids love it and look forward to it. There are lots of different prints to choose from. Go check them out!
Glow Sticks
Our kids are fascinated by these glow sticks! Also, they make great ways to keep track of your kids in the dark at the firework shows and just while walking around to rides right before Disney World closes.
Stanley Jug
Similar to the trending Stanley Mugs, this jug will hold ice all day long and is perfect for the whole family. You may need to refill it a few time throughout the day but at least it will be one big bottle instead of having to keep track of lots of smaller ones.
Belt Bag
Last but definitely not least, the belt bag! A lot of the items on this list are able to fit into this belt bag. This makes it nice if you can go in just with this instead of a backpack and it can cinch around you when you go on rides to make sure all of your items are secure. Don’t forget an AirTag for it!
